We spent a night at Johannesburg then flew up to Hoedspruit. There, it was an amazing 3 nights at Kapama River Lodge, with Safari game drives in the mornings and evenings.
Next stop was a flight to Capetown with 3 nights there exploring the city and region. I loved what Capetown had to offer.
Then we headed to back to Johannesburg and up Rustenburg where we were based for a few days at Sun City.
Qantas via Sydney into Johannesburg, and SA Airlink within South Africa.
The Qantas routing is absolutely the best to and from that region of Africa with good flight times. This helped with mitigating the jet lag factor.
The service and aircrafts on the long-haul flights between Sydney and Johannesburg was very good.
