This included flights, accommodation and activities on either side of the Jamboree, for the 70 Scouts who came from multiple places in New Zealand.

I spent 4 days racing around a few different locations across South Korea that the group were going to be staying in and then had a few days to check out things on my own.
Exploring the Bukhansan National Park and running up Baegundae Peak was a very memorable highlight.
Outside of Seoul and Busan, English wasn't widely spoken but that didn't matter as I found everyone so friendly and welcoming.
South Korea isn't on a lot of people's travel destination radars, but after spending a week there, I am really looking forward to an opportunity to go back.

Songdo Beach in Busan - in the middle of summer this gets so busy that you can't even see the sand!
The food there is amazing, I'd happily eat Korean Bibimbap every night if I could learn to cook it half as good as it tastes over there.
Obviously there is quite the history with their northern neighbours but I also learnt a lot about the checkered history with Japan and what the country has faced over the last century.

Seoul runs on a very effective metro and bus network.
The KTX High Speed trains (300km p/h) get you around the country very quickly!
